The area

The hotel is situated only a few kilometres from Turin, with its Royal Palace, Madama Palace, fascinating museums and many fine historic mansions. We are also conveniently close to Alba, renowned for its delectable truffles, and Asti, well-known for its delightful sparkling wine.

Hotel Lo Scoiattolo is in a great spot for undertaking a tour of the Langhe region. Have you ever visited the Royal Palace of Venaria, or the Castles of Pralormo, Moncalieri and Racconigi? If you stay with us, you`ll be able to easily explore these magnificent sights.

Additionally, we are only a forty minute drive from the Basilica of Superga, designed by Juvarra, and perched on a hilltop overlooking Turin. Or you can visit the Stupinigi Hunting Lodge, a splendid royal residence built by the great architects of the court of Savoy. If, on the other hand, you would like to explore some of Turin`s famous museums, you can visit the Museum of the Holy Shroud, the Egyptian Museum, the Museum of the Risorgimento, or the "Duca degli Abruzzi" National Mountain Museum, among others.
